Sourdough Bread



Ok, I have been on a domestic kick as of late. I have been cooking some yummy stuff (with a little help from Trader Joes). Last night I made some Pizza Margherita from scratch (except for the pizza dough--from TJs) and it was so yummy. I think I shall have the leftovers for dinner. It's cool cause I can experiment and make it just the way I like it.

Now, as to the title of this post, I also got a Sourdough Starter (or culture) going. It is ready for me to make bread now. Woohoo!

I think I will be trying it out this weekend and see how it comes out. I may do a 5 hour process instead of a 3 hour (for the rising) and see if that works out. Methinks I shall peruse the bread cookbooks I got at the library for hints.

I shall post on how the bread turns out (I hope it's good--since I've put time into it already!)



In other news.....

My feet really stink right now. They need a good scrub and I think I need to clean my shoes or something. Maybe some talcum powder is in order.
