I broke my toe...among other things

At this very moment, my left pinkie toe is turning lots of pretty colors...even to the point of sharing the joy with the top part of my foot.

I daresay, it's broken.

I was cleaning up the apartment last night and banged my toe really hard on the wooden edge of the bench I was using as a step-stool. It hurt. A LOT! I figured I just stubbed it and it'd be fine. But then it kept hurting, and I started hobbling around and I noticed it looked a bit swollen and was starting to look a bit discolored.

This morning after being up for a little while, it started to get really colorful.

All the more excuse to sit and crochet! HAHA!



Meanwhile, Nathan and I are both having work issues. I haven't gotten a raise in 3 1/2 years and that's making me a very unhappy camper. Nathan has been trying to get a promotion and didn't, but then his new manager offered one...but for a later shift, meaning we would barely see each other. We're in a bit of a quandary.

If you pray, please pray for our situation...we're barely squeaking by as it is and it's getting frustrating.
