Another rainy day...

It has been nice and rainy of late. We've had a couple days of sun, but it's back to the raining again, which I kinda like, especially since it doesn't seem to have been raining much this season.

Last night my dad and I went out to dinner with an underwriter from one of the companies we work with. She is a really nice gal and the conversation didn't stay on business very much (which is nice since we were at dinner for a long time; from 5:30 to 8:45!). The food was delicious and I was a bit full afterwards. It was nice to have some fancy, gourmet foods. A nice break from my own cooking (although I do enjoy it--both making and eating--it gets old occasionally, especially since I am kinda pinching pennies until I get my next paycheck which is now back to normal and this is a really, really long sentence so hopefully no grammar nazis get on my case about it).

And even after all that food I ate last night, and the bagel with cream cheese I had for breakfast, I am really hungry and it's only 11:20. Maybe it's cause I ate a little earlier this morning since I got up earlier to pray with Jenn. I don't know. All I know is that my stomach is about to start growling.

*growl* And there it goes.

Moving on......this may be a crazy move on my part, but I am thinking of becoming an Avon or mark representative (mark is the teen/20something version of Avon, I guess). It apparently doesn't cost much to get started (I think it's $10.00 for the kit) and at the very least, I will get a discount on their stuff. At any rate, I am meeting with an Avon rep tonight after work to go over everything. It'd be nice to have some extra variable income in case I want to save up for something, or invest. I doubt I will get too into it since I already work 40 hours a week. But it might be fun :-)

OK, time to get back to work again.....
