Long time, no post

I started the last post with the intention of writing more, but that didn't happen. And rather than just scrap the draft, I decided to just post it anyway.

This year has already been quite different from last year, and the first month isn't even over yet. The fall was quite busy with school and lots of new happenings including my first public performance of an original song of mine (that was awesome!) and some moments of spiritual breakthrough as well.

Looking back, last year was a lot about discovering who I am (which of course, will be an ongoing process), but also learning to see myself as God sees me...wonderful and beautiful as I am, eccentricities, weaknesses, and strengths.

This year has already been turning out to be quite awesome as well, but in very different ways. I am facing my fears about relationships and learning to just let God lead. A friend of mine from school and I have been falling for each other. While he admitted it a while back, I finally admitted it to myself and to him at the beginning of the year (literally). There are some things that are gonna take time to work out, but they aren't impossible and God is already being faithful to bring lots of grace into those circumstances.

In the meantime, we get along beautifully, communicate very well, and were born with complimentary senses of humor (which, considering how eccentric we both are, is a bit amazing, hehe). We also share a passion for music, which is awesome. We are working on our first project together and I will post a link when it's done.

So, life is beautiful and God is good :-)
