Happiness

I haven't really posted much lately (sorry! for those of you who care). So, I also haven't posted much about my boyfriend, Nathan.

Well, today marks three months into our relationship. It actually feels like it's been a lot longer (maybe partly cause we started becoming good friends about 7 months ago). We've been through quite a bit in the short time we've been dating, so I think that has contributed to our closeness, since we've seen each other in a lot of different circumstances (good and bad).

Nathan is the sweetest man I know, and one of the most considerate and fun. We have similar interests, but with enough variety to keep things interesting. We share a passionate love for God and desire to serve Him with our lives and share His love with those around us. Nathan has a quirky enough personality and sense of humor to keep up with my quirkiness :-) He continually surprises me with his depth, his silliness, and his thoughtfulness.

For instance, today, he had borrowed my car to get us lunch to eat at the park. He then surprised me at work with flowers, candy, and the best part.......a freshly washed car! I am so lazy about getting my car cleaned, so it meant a lot to me :-)

Another thing I love about Nathan is his humility and openness. He makes it so easy to talk about difficult things that come up, either in life, or between us, because even though it's not easy, he wants to keep our lines of communication open and isn't shy about admitting when he's wrong (something I am not always so good at doing).

He's the best!
